BDMS

(Battery Diagnostics and Management System)

We offer a comprehensive Battery Diagnosis and Operation Solution that goes beyond the traditional
Battery Management System (BMS), which typically monitors basic battery parameters such as voltage, current, and temperature.
Our solution integrates detailed battery information including the State of Charge (SOC) and State of Health (SOH),
continuous fire risk monitoring, and precise lifespan prediction to ensure safer and more efficient battery management.

Function

From battery status to lifespan prediction, we deliver precise diagnostics and safe management.

Real-time monitoring

Features | Enhanced accuracy of traditional SOC and SOH measurements
Newly defined stress index based on degradation indicators for effective asset management

Functions | Real-time diagnosis and history management of battery cell degradation at rack or pack level

Quantification and real-time monitoring of stress index considering life-impacting factors such as SOC, temperature, and charge-discharge volume

Degraded cell detection

Features | Provides degraded cell location and frequency information which is not available in conventional BMS, enabling detection of risky cells during operation

Functions | Detects degraded cells periodically based on BMS data (voltage, current, location) to predict fire hazards

Provides accurate location information within racks (packs) or modules for degraded cells and reports their degradation status

Cell-level lifespan prediction

Features | measures quantitative degradation at the cell level, the smallest unit in battery systems consisting of many cells (ESS: hundreds of thousands, EV: hundreds)

Functions | applies DC pulse current to all cells and calculates internal resistance for precise degradation diagnosis

Quantifies degradation of all cells within the battery system, performs statistical analysis, and provides the information
Offers remaining life prediction for every cell
